STEM ACTIVITIES] – TRAN DAI NGHIA HIGH SCHOOL FOR THE GIFTED

On December 3, 2022, the Department of Food Technology – IU welcomed students from Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted to visit and participate in STEM activities.

Students were divided into 2 groups into 2 Laboratories and experienced many interesting activities as follows:

1. Food Processing Laboratory: Students were taught how to make chocolate and attended the tea ritual
2. Food Microbiology and Food Safety Laboratory: Students were instructed how to stain gram for microorganisms in food and how to use a microscope to observe their morphologies and color
